Deep Clean and Renew: Eco-Friendly Hot Water Extraction for Pristine Carpets

We use a method of carpet cleaning called hot water extraction. We start by spraying a customized mixture of eco-friendly chemicals onto the carpet, then go over it using 200+ degree water and strong suction to leave the carpet as dry as possible. This leaves the carpets looking new, smelling great, and completely cleaned and sanitized.

  1. Preparation: The first step involves preparing the carpet. This usually includes removing any furniture or items on the carpet to expose the entire surface for cleaning.
  2. Application of Eco-Friendly Chemicals: A specialized mixture of eco-friendly cleaning agents is then sprayed onto the carpet. These chemicals are designed to break down dirt, stains, and other contaminants embedded in the carpet fibers. The eco-friendly nature of these chemicals ensures they are safe for the environment, pets, and humans.
  3. Hot Water Extraction: After the chemicals have had time to work on the dirt and stains, hot water extraction begins. This involves using equipment that injects hot water – typically over 200 degrees Fahrenheit – deep into the carpet fibers. The high temperature of the water helps to further break down dirt and sanitize the carpet.
  4. Strong Suction: Simultaneously, a powerful suction mechanism is used. This sucks up the loosened dirt, the cleaning chemicals, and most of the water from the carpet. The strength of the suction plays a critical role in how dry the carpet is left after cleaning. The stronger the suction, the less residual moisture is left in the carpet, reducing drying time.
  5. Drying: Even with strong suction, carpets will still be somewhat damp after hot water extraction. The final phase of the process involves drying the carpets. This can be accelerated with the use of fans, dehumidifiers, or natural ventilation.
  6. Results: The end result of this process is a carpet that looks renewed, smells fresh, and is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. The removal of dirt, stains, and allergens not only improves the appearance of the carpet but also contributes to a healthier indoor environment.

This method is popular because it effectively cleans carpets without leaving behind harmful chemicals or excessive moisture, which can lead to mold growth. It’s also favored for its ability to extend the life of the carpet by removing abrasive dirt particles that can wear down carpet fibers over time.
